My original vision for this blog was for it to be a source for our readers to find out what's going on in the world of fly fishing in the Upper Midwest. There would be stream reports, destination pieces, fly tying recipes, gear reviews, personality profiles and stuff like that. I soon decided I probably didn't have enough time to make it the full-fledged fly fishing blog I envisioned, so now I'm not sure what it will become. I do know that it will be fully fly fishing-focused, and maybe I will get back to my original vision at some point. But, for now, I'll post the occasional fly recipe, maybe some photos from fishing trips, I will probably rant about my love of vintage fiberglass rods, and otherwise just ramble on about whatever is bugging me that day.
